It is hard to believe that Clannad has aired almost 12 years ago in 2008, but the story is still as fresh as ever in my memory. Whenever I hear this melody, I can immediately picture the ending animation of Clannad in my mind with all the hand drawn Dangos. This week's nostalgia Anime piano cover is another true classic with a very familiar melody: Dango Daikazoku from Clannad. It takes all the happiness and all the sadness too, bringing them all together. There's a rabbit waving down and watching over them as its standing on the moon up in the sky. Laughing all together now while on their dango star as they make town after town.

I even dragged my mother to watch some episodes with me, which is another reason I found it fitting to release this on Mother's Day. But after my friend recommended that I had to watch Clannad: After Story to understand why the series was so prominent, I steered through the first series and finished it all off. ɾ⚈▿⚈ɹĬlannad was one of the first anime that I watched back when YouTube first came out and I actually dropped it halfway through the first series. As well, I stand by the decision to sing dango instead of dumpling because (I'm sorry if you honestly think this but) I don't think singing dumpling over and over again has the same charm. I hope you all enjoy! I had to make some hard choices regarding the end of the iconic dango, dango chime and decided to go with dango family with respect to the English dub of this series.
